Hello Friends...
Sethra Regina Little is the CEO/Founder of a grassroots
community Nonprofit organization, The Nurturing Group.
As an attendee of the Wendell Jones Leadership Institute
and a member of NSLS (THE NATIONAL SOCIETY OF
LEADERSHIP AND SUCCESS), Sethra has obtained
leadership training that assists her with operating a
nonprofit organization as well as instill leadership values
to those she comes in contact with. By utilizing her
learned skills, Sethra has been able to offer her services
as a volunteer to organizations such as CYM Leadership
Academy, Julie Valentine Center, and several community
advocacy programs involving youth and the homeless.
Being a survivor of Sexual Assault and Domestic
Violence has taught Sethra how to face many obstacles in her life. It is no wonder
she started a Nonprofit that focuses on family and community communication.
Sethra’s philosophy is, “if we build a stronger relationship in the home and develop
positive communication skills, it will flow into our outside interactions in the
community”. As she and her staff coach parents and mentor youth, it is their hope to
open the lines of communication and build stronger bonds. These bonds will
inevitably affect a few of the major areas The Nurturing Group focuses on, which is
Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault, and Human Trafficking. We intend to break the
silence and move forward victoriously.
Sethra has been deemed a no-nonsense, straightforward communicator by her
peers and her clients. She tries to see possibilities in everyone she meets and will
continue to encourage them until they reach their potential. Sethra hopes that her
belief in her clients is instrumental in their success and the levels that they
accomplish over time.
